South Ari Atoll, Maldives
Ariyadhoo Caves, in South Ari Atoll near Ariyadhoo island, is a cave system in the outer reef with openings between 10-25 m. Barracudas, giant moray eels and nurse sharks inhabit the cave interior; outside, gorgonian fans and soft corals decorate the walls. Intermediate for basic cave penetration.
