Presidente Vargas station, on the Araraquara Railway, opened in 1952 in Rubinéia; it was the end of the line, and locals called it 'Rubinéia'. The old station's platform has about 25 pillars, each 6 m tall, along 110 m, and the ruins of the ticket office are also at the site. During the 2021 drought, the river receded about 200 m and dropped 5 m, and the platform pillars reappeared, along with the animal trough and the station's old water tank, used to wash the railcars. Groups use Rubinéia's submerged structures as a training setting.
