Maldives
The name comes from the anemones, which are abundant at the site, and moray eels and pipefish move among them. The top of the thila is covered with hard coral, mainly porites and acropora table corals. On the north wall, there are shoals of yellowfin trevallies in front of colourful soft corals that blanket the rock face. On the seabed there are stingrays and marble rays partially covered by the sand, with only their eyes showing. Lobsters live in the crevices at the east end of the thila.
