The sector of the Arquipelago dos Alcatrazes with the highest coverage of brain corals (Mussismilia hispida), located in the Portinho area. A reef environment with endemic biodiversity; divers must take care not to touch the coral colonies. Also offers views of the magnificent frigatebird (Fregata magnificens) nesting colony that begins in this sector. Mooring buoy 10 is for scuba diving; mooring buoy 11 is for snorkeling and floating. Depths range from 4 to 20 meters, sheltered from easterly winds. Access only through an operator authorized by ICMBio.
