On the rocky shores covered with algae and corals at Geladeira there are colorful fish, turtles and invertebrates such as nudibranchs, anemones, crabs, shrimp and sea urchins. From the site you begin to see the nesting colony of frigatebirds (Fregata magnificens), with the birds flying overhead during the stay, and Pico da Boa Vista, the highest point of Ilha de Alcatrazes. In the region, weather and sea conditions for navigation tend to be better from November to May.
