A break in the coral plate forms a canyon that divers fin through, heading back afterwards through a coral garden. The reefs are mainly hard corals and, with a little luck, Napoleons, barracudas and seahorses show up. In the Nuweiba area, the best time is usually May-June and September-November, while from January to April the sea usually gets colder and strong chilly winds are common.
