Abu Hashis Lagun is the protected lagoon of the Abu Hashish reef system south of Hurghada, with calm shallow waters of 2–8 m. The site is ideal for snorkeling and beginner diving with clownfish, octopuses and occasional spotted rays on the sandy bottom.
